Welcome! I’m Sierra. I live in the Boston area with my family.

When I’m not chasing toddlers, baking bread or running errands on my bike, I write. As a writer, I focus primarily on parenting, personal finance, green living and spirituality.

I’ve been writing about life as a mom since I first discovered I was pregnant. Since then I have written about life in the suburbs, choosing a kindergarten, work vs. parenting, biking with babies and naked sex with barbies. I’ve also written a fair amount about my open marriage, and about parenting from a Pagan perspective.

My work has been featured on Salon, Babble and The New York Times. I am a staff writer for Strollerderby. Back in the day, I was a features reporter for the Eagle-Tribune newspapers.  I hold an MFA in writing from Emerson College and a BA from Sarah Lawrence College.
