Rio’s interest in reproduction continues unabated. Now her questions have moved on to the animal kingdom. She recently learned about sloths somewhere (maybe at school?), and tried out with her dad and her sister making sloth motions at bedtime.
This cleverly dragged out bedtime to record levels, and gave both girls an object lesson in just how slowly one can move. Win.
A few days later, she turns to her dad and says, “You know when animals want to make more animals, and they put their bodies together to do it?”
Dad, cautiously, “yessss?”
“When two sloths want to make more sloths, how long does that take?”
