Serena is a serious bowler

Serena is a serious bowler

Lured by rumors of gluten-free pizza crust, I finally got around to taking the kids to the new Flatbread Pizza Company/bowling alley. Could there be anything more awesome than a bowling alley that serves delicious foodie pizzas, wonderful mixed drinks and has the most kid-friendly staff I’ve seen in a restaurant?

This place was the bomb. I cannot wait to take my kids there again. The food was great, the bowling was bowling, but what really made it amazing were the people. All the staff were super friendly and right on top of things. They had no trouble at all helping our chaotic bunch with snacks, drinks, dinner and games.

Best of all, we were totally not the only family running wild in the place. T were little kids scooting all over on their own, and the waitstaff all smiled and skirted around them.

It was great. Serena turns out to be a pretty serious bowler. She stayed super focused on the game long after the other kids had become distracted by pizza and play-dough. All the kids loved it, though, and so did the grown-ups. Yay to bowling.

Also, apparently, the kids are all secretly 12. Look at the hip-check! ZOMG.
