the Chair Problem

OK, you know that classic AI problem, “What is a chair?” Seems straightforward, but a chair is actually hard to define.

Unless you’re three.

“Mama, you look like a chair,” Serena says.

“What about me makes me look like a chair?”

“You have legs. And a chair has legs. So you are a chair!”
