Serena got into my Beautiful Tarot app on my iPhone yesterday and figured out how to pull the cards.
I love Tarot. I love this Tarot app. I use it just about daily. My only wish is that future version include a Thoth tarot.
I’m never sure I think it “works”, since there are no physical cards to hold in your hand. But what does “working” mean with a Tarot reading anyway? It’s a wonderful app for just drawing a daily card to meditate with, or asking a quick question of your subconcious.
This app is as much like holding a deck of cards in your hand and shuffling them as a computer simulation can be. That’s good enough for me.
So, whether this works like a “real” Tarot reading or not, whether any Tarot reading “works” or not, I’m amused by the cards Serena pulled:
- The Fool
- The Magician
- The High Priestess
- The Empress
- The Emperor
- The Hierophant
- The Lovers
- The Hermit
- Death
- The Devil
- The Star
- The Sun
- The Moon
- The Tower
- The Universe
That would be 15 consecutive Trump cards. She might have gone on like that if I hadn’t taken the phone away. If I were to read this, magically, I’d say that it’s a sign of how full of life and possibility she is. But mainly it’s a sign of the funny things that happen if you put a Tarot deck in a 3-year-old’s hands.
