		<description>That&#039;s what I thought. I think me+both kids is about 200lbs; obviously that number will go up as they get older, but I still think we&#039;re in pretty safe territory. I&#039;ll look into the &quot;family van&quot; for next summer. :)</description>

		<description>As long as you don&#039;t have a Huffy or Pacific or something else from one of the &#039;Marts&#039; you should be fine.  I&#039;ve seen low end name brand bikes (Trek, Giant etc) pulling trailers with 300lbs of news papers.  You have to break early and watch your downhill speed, but the bike is fine.  Come to think of it, many pedicabs are simply a mountain bike with a trailer.  I&#039;ve pulled several &#039;average size&#039; Americans in such a pedicab before too.

I have a co-worker with an Xtracycle.  Among other things, he has carried his daughter and her friend on it.  They love it!</description>

More seriously, you could think about a tandem with a child-stoker adapter (which raises the rear pedals). That&#039;s kind pf a spendy option though.</description>
